About the role
We are a growing organization in the UAE seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the cargo, freight, or logistics sector. You will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting smooth financial interactions with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Process day‑to‑day accounting transactions, including invoices and receipts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly closing activities.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure accurate financial information.
Required profile
- Proven accounting experience within the cargo, freight, or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Immediate availability is an advantage.
