Accountant – Corporate Services (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, client‑focused Accountant to manage a portfolio of entities across multiple industries in the UAE. The role involves full‑cycle accounting, tax compliance, and delivering high‑quality advisory support to our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for several client entities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end/year‑end closings.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
• Handle UAE VAT registrations, return filings, refunds, voluntary disclosures, and ensure compliance through EmaraTax.
• Administer UAE Corporate Tax registrations, computations, filings, and Small Business Relief assessments.
• Produce management, cash‑flow, and financial analysis reports for clients.
• Support new company incorporations by setting up accounting records and chart of accounts.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, government and free‑zone authorities.
• Assist clients during VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory audits.
• Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Experience in a corporate services provider, audit firm, consultancy or accounting firm managing multiple client entities.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
• Familiarity with UAE jurisdictions such as DMCC, IFZA, JAFZA, ADGM, DIFC, RAK ICC.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and ownership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or Tally (or similar ERP/accounting software).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
