Accountant (Dubai)

About the role

Cosmo Code Cosmetics Trading LLC is a Dubai‑based company operating in the cosmetics, beauty, skincare, and aesthetic products sector. We are looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage the company’s day‑to‑day accounting and financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and supplier/customer reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and supplier payments.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain proper VAT records and support UAE VAT filing and compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and customers as required.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, and other accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and basic UAE accounting requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidate currently based in the UAE with UAE accounting experience is preferred.
