Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

An opportunity for a banking professional to support corporate banking portfolio activities, credit processes and client‑related operations. The role works closely with relationship managers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective portfolio monitoring, reporting and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and processing of credit applications, renewals and related documentation.
• Monitor portfolio performance, facility utilisation and exposure levels.
• Track review schedules, facility maturities and key portfolio deadlines.
• Assist with financial analysis and support internal credit assessment activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams on account administration, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and monitor outstanding actions or exceptions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to obtain required information and support ongoing banking activities.

Required profile

• Educational background in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years' experience in corporate banking, credit analysis or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, financial statements and credit evaluation.
• Experience supporting corporate client portfolios and banking operations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
