Accountant - Fashion

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Accountant to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations within a fast‑moving fashion environment. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, support timely reporting, and drive process improvements while working independently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, including accruals, provisions and journal entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform inter‑company, balance‑sheet and other reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare MIS reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Identify and implement automation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent; CA / ACCA qualification (part‑qualified preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations.

Required skills

• ERP systems – Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central.
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP).
