Financial Accounting Manager - EMEA (Russian Speaking)

About the role

The Financial Accounting Manager will lead end‑to‑end accounting and reporting for multiple entities across the Middle East and Africa region. Working closely with the regional finance team, you will ensure audit readiness, compliance, and timely month‑end close while supporting payroll, fixed assets and tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage GL accounting, financial reporting, payroll accounting and fixed‑asset tracking for MEA legal entities.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, and resolve auditor queries.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close activities, perform variance analysis and tax reviews.
• Collaborate with tax, payroll, legal, transfer‑pricing and finance business partners to resolve accounting issues.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; ACA/ACCA/CPA fully qualified with 5+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Hands‑on experience managing GL accounting and statutory reporting for entities in the Middle East, Africa, Russia or Kazakhstan.
• Strong knowledge of regional tax (VAT, WHT, CIT) and IFRS reporting requirements.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and Russian.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.
• Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle, HFM, SAP; familiarity with 1C software is a plus.
• Practical understanding of IFRS and its impact on financial statements.
