Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

Kering is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on maintaining the general ledger, managing fixed assets, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities while ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile all GL accounts using Blackline and provide supporting documentation.
• Maintain the fixed‑assets register, perform manual depreciation runs, and update asset records.
• Assist in accurate and timely monthly and year‑end close processes.
• Support accounting systems and records, including intercompany invoices, inventory, payroll, cut‑off, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, cash‑flow, receivables ageing and payables/inter‑company reports.
• Analyze transactional processes to identify accuracy improvements and efficiency gains.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, preparing work papers and schedules for audit completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• CA Inter or ACCA candidate preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably with an audit background.
• Strong communication, organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of AS400, Hyperion and Oracle JDE (ERP) systems.
