Accountant – Finance Team, Dubai

About the role

Pet Corner Trading LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai Investment Park. The successful candidate will oversee accounting activities across a group of companies while supporting the organisation’s transition toward an AI‑powered finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities across multiple companies, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform e‑commerce reconciliations for websites, delivery platforms, and payment gateways.
• Utilise Claude AI to support reconciliations, journal entries, month‑end closing, reporting, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and management to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase modules).
• Experience managing accounting for a group of companies, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Knowledge of e‑commerce reconciliation for websites, delivery applications and payment gateways.
• Understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and audit support.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
