Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Bybit is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant (or Senior Accountant) to join its Finance team. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end and year‑end closing, financial reporting and audit requirements across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities in line with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and other adjustments.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring records are complete, accurate and properly supported.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, including bank, inter‑company, AP, AR and other key accounts.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and aged reconciling items.
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packages.
• Assist with statutory financial statements, tax, regulatory and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors during interim and annual audits.
• Contribute to finance process improvements, reporting workflows and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of IFRS and local accounting requirements.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity, cross‑border environment.
• Experience with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
