Accountant – Financial Operations in Dubai

About the role

The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for RFZ in Dubai, handling transaction recording, journal entries, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support tax and regulatory filings in compliance with UAE requirements.
• Produce management reports for internal stakeholders.
• Improve financial processes and maintain organized documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge, including general ledger, reporting, budgeting and reconciliations.
• Understanding of UAE financial regulations and tax compliance, or willingness to learn quickly.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and ability to prioritize in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
