Accountant – FMCG Industry – Dubai

About the role

Vision Middle East is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant with FMCG experience to join its finance team in Dubai. The role involves accurate financial recording, VAT compliance and supporting import‑export logistics documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Record purchase transactions and post supplier invoices in the ERP system.
• Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations and daily bank reconciliations.
• Follow up on customer payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Reconcile inventory records across the group.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and assist with corporate tax matters.
• Support import‑export logistics documentation such as bills of lading and customs clearance.
• Undertake additional accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience in the FMCG sector (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and filing procedures.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of corporate tax is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of import‑export logistics processes.
