Accountant – Hotel Finance (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented General Accountant to join the Finance team at our Times Inn hotel in Abu Dhabi. The role supports daily hotel accounting operations, month‑end and year‑end closing, and ensures compliance with UAE VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and process accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile daily hotel revenue across PMS, POS, and accounting systems.
• Prepare customer and corporate invoices, monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances.
• Perform regular bank, supplier, customer, revenue and ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals and supporting schedules.
• Support payroll‑related accounting entries, staff benefits and inventory cost accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE hospitality or real‑estate sector.
• Experience with Zoho Books (or similar ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT; exposure to UAE Corporate Tax is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
