Accountant – Intercompany & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage intercompany reconciliations, maintain financial records and support month‑end closing for multiple entities in the UAE. The role involves preparing basic financial statements, handling vendor payments and ensuring compliance with VAT and accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain intercompany reconciliation records and related‑party schedules.
• Record transactions, track expenses and ensure all financial data is authorized.
• Process vendor invoices and initiate payments with proper documentation.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and trial balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts for accuracy.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights to management.
• Manage petty‑cash fund, ensuring approvals and documentation.
• Ensure VAT compliance, filing and payments.
• Utilise SAP and other accounting software for multiple entities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Collaborate with auditors and internal teams during financial audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Preferred ACCA or CPA certification.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and high integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
