Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Accountant to join our financial team in Dubai. You will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our financial records, prepare comprehensive reports, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and detailed financial records for the organization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing and payments.
• Develop and monitor financial budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Work with external auditors during internal and external audits.
• Implement effective accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans.
• Perform bank statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the finance team with ad‑hoc projects and financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional accounting experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
