Accountant – Luxury Hotel Group

About the role

Join FIVE Holdings, the luxury hotel group behind the world’s hottest hotels, as an Accountant. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team across multiple award‑winning destinations. This role offers a fast‑paced environment where precision and proactive problem‑solving are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank statements.
• Manage and reconcile cash, investment, and payable/receivable accounts.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within a luxury hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, M.Com, CA Inter or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
