Accountant – Private Equity

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join a growing private‑equity investment platform. The role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in the UAE, and involves managing the accounting and reporting for multiple investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for investment funds and related entities.
• Process capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) and reconcile investment portfolios.
• Monitor cash positions and oversee bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and custodians.
• Support year‑end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Prepare management reports and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and fund documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience within venture capital, private equity, asset management, or a family office.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
