Accountant – Shared Services

About the role

JD.com is seeking an experienced Accountant to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of accounting policies, systems, and procedures across its shared service centre. The role involves close collaboration with multiple business groups and departments to ensure compliance, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the development and enhancement of group accounting policies, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and standards.
• Oversee implementation of policies, analyse issues, and resolve them to maintain accurate accounting information.
• Coordinate with other departments to communicate and apply accounting policies company‑wide.
• Understand accounting processes of various Business Groups, establish and run daily quality monitoring for the shared service centre.
• Consolidate operational data, develop metrics and build visual dashboards.
• Promote process standardisation, productisation and optimise accounting tools such as policy libraries, SOPs and process lists.
• Act as Project Manager for process‑improvement, risk‑management or user‑experience projects.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the head of the centre.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification.
• Experience in a financial shared service centre or BPO environment.
• Strong project‑management experience and ability to coordinate cross‑functional resources.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
• Quick learner, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
