Accountant – UAE Construction & Fit‑Out

About the role

Osprey Interiors is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate has UAE accounting experience, especially within contracting, construction, or interior fit‑out companies, and can ensure VAT compliance while handling multiple responsibilities independently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and cash‑flow statements.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate account balances.
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Maintain proper financial records using Zoho Books.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in contracting, construction, or interior fit‑out.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho Books.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT compliance.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and financial reporting.
