Accountant – UAE Experience (Dubai)

About the role

AXIM International Trading L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Deira, Dubai. The role focuses on managing day‑to‑day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions
• Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Perform supplier and customer reconciliations
• Conduct bank reconciliations
• Prepare UAE VAT filings and meet FTA requirements
• Process payroll
• Post general ledger and journal entries
• Maintain inventory accounting records
• Produce financial reports
• Support overall finance and accounting operations

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and FTA regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
• Excellent MS Excel proficiency
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
