About the role
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial figures, postings, and documents while organizing and safeguarding all financial records, cash, and cash equivalents in line with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
- Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up and resolve past‑due accounts and vendor invoices.
- Coordinate tasks with other departments and serve as a departmental role model or mentor.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
