Accountant - US Experience (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in US accounting standards to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while supporting month‑end close and financial reporting for US‑based entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proficiency in US GAAP and related financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month‑end close and reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
