Accounting Manager – Arabic Speaker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who is fluent in Arabic to lead financial operations across our landscaping, contracting and construction entities. The role combines strategic oversight of project costing, cash management and regulatory compliance with hands‑on supervision of day‑to‑day accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project profitability against budgets and Bills of Quantities, analysing material, subcontractor and labour costs.
• Oversee progressive billing, issue invoices and Interim Payment Certificates, and maintain accurate customer statements.
• Validate subcontractor payment applications, variations and back‑charges; reconcile vendor accounts and manage retention payables.
• Supervise inventory and work‑in‑progress (WIP) accounting for landscaping, civil and structural works, preparing WIP schedules and project reconciliations.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, petty‑cash policies and banking relationships for project guarantees.
• Record and allocate utility, machinery and vehicle expenses, including fuel, maintenance and insurance.
• Track fixed assets from acquisition through depreciation, ensuring proper capitalization.

Required profile

• Strong financial background within landscaping, contracting or construction sectors.
• Proven experience in project costing, billing, cash & bank management and inventory control.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple active project sites and support business decision‑making.
