Accounts Manager / Senior Accounts Manager

About the role

A well‑established organization operating across education, construction and group‑company businesses is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager or Senior Accounts Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on project finance, construction accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance and coordination with external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project finance, construction accounting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate records for CWIP, fixed assets, and related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other financial regulations.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and external advisers.
• Prepare reconciliations, financial analyses, and management reports.
• Support related‑party transactions and transfer‑pricing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with CA qualification.
• 5+ years overall accounting experience, including 2–3 years in the UAE.
• Strong practical experience in project and construction accounting.
• Experience managing CWIP and fixed assets.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Understanding of related‑party transactions and basic transfer‑pricing requirements.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation and financial‑reporting abilities.
• Experience working with banks, auditors, consultants and external advisers.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP/accounting‑software proficiency.
