Accountant – Joinery Division

About the role

Al Khalidiya Group is looking for an Accountant to support its Joinery Division in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on day‑to‑day accounting transactions, project cost tracking, ledger reconciliations and financial reporting across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting entries, process accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer ledgers and general ledgers.
• Track project‑specific expenditures, analyse material and labour costs and evaluate project profitability.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes before payment authorization.
• Assist with monthly management reporting, budget variance analysis, internal audits and UAE VAT filing documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 4 years UAE accounting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing or joinery.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, hands‑on experience with accounting/ERP software and solid knowledge of UAE VAT rules.
• Strong competencies in general‑ledger accounting, project cost control, bank/vendor reconciliations and financial report generation.
