Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

Budget Rent a Car is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to join its Finance team in Al Garhoud, Dubai. The role focuses on managing the full AR cycle, ensuring timely collections, and supporting cash‑flow objectives for both corporate and retail customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, debit/credit notes, and statements.
• Monitor customer accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate aging reports.
• Conduct collections activities via phone, email, and meetings, adhering to agreed credit terms.
• Escalate high‑risk or overdue accounts and assist in credit limit reviews.
• Prepare regular AR aging, DSO, and cash‑flow forecast reports for management.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes and improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• Relevant experience in car‑rental, automotive, leasing, fleet management or similar service industries.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
