Accounts Receivable Executive

About the role

Al Ain English Speaking School is seeking an Accounts Receivable Executive to manage the full AR cycle, ensure timely billing, credit control, and compliance with KHDA/ADEK and VAT/FTA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurate and timely billing and invoicing across all revenue streams.
• Manage accounts receivable ageing, collections, and follow‑up communications.
• Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, student accounts and control accounts.
• Prepare month‑end schedules, AR reports and support audit processes.
• Process tuition fee invoices using price books, contracts and sales orders.
• Apply approved discounts and issue invoices for boarding, activities, exams and other services.
• Perform daily banking tasks, including cheque and cash deposits.
• Support the Zenda school payment app setup and handle non‑Zenda collections.
• Post journal vouchers for bank charges and inter‑company transactions.
• Provide customer service to parents, staff and internal stakeholders.
• Update KHDA/ADEK portals with fee information and support VAT register preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of experience in accounts receivable or related finance functions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced school environment and handle multiple income streams.
• Familiarity with local regulatory requirements (KHDA/ADEK, VAT/FTA) is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet month‑end deadlines.
