Acrobatic Lead Rigger - Theater Operations

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Acrobatic Lead Rigger to join its Theater Operations team. You will support the Head of Rigging in delivering safe, reliable rigging solutions for rehearsals and live performances at the resort’s new theater.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Rigging in managing the rigging department and supervising staff.
• Plan and execute rigging operations for rehearsals and performances.
• Install, maintain, and inspect motorized and manual rigging systems.
• Coordinate overhead stage equipment with audio, automation, lighting, and carpentry teams.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and training programs.
• Monitor rigging systems during shows and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance records, and inventory.
• Support scheduling, payroll processing, and budget planning.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years theatrical rigging experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with motorized and manual rigging, fall protection, and acrobatic installations.
• ETCP certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year.
• Strong understanding of rigging hardware and safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
