Aerospace Technician – Assembly & Overhaul

About the role

Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense solutions, is looking for a Technician to join its Jebel Ali Free Zone facility in Dubai. The role involves hands‑on assembly, disassembly, inspection, testing and overhaul of critical aircraft components such as evacuation slides, life rafts, pressurised cylinders and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Perform major and minor assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, testing and disposition of various components and accessories.
• Overhaul pressurised cylinders and regulators, including hydrostatic testing of bottles.
• Fold and pack evacuation slides into compartments and repair composite fabrics.
• Follow quality procedures and technical documentation accurately, maintaining high quality standards.
• Support additional maintenance activities across other business units when not working on slides.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to use SAP and MS Office to input and retrieve information.
• Willingness to work overtime, including extended days and weekends, and comply with EH&S policies and PPE requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret schematics or technical drawings.
