AI Engineer – Asset Management

About the role

Enerflex Ltd. is looking for an AI Engineer to join its Asset Management team in Abu Dhabi. You will design and deploy AI‑driven solutions that improve maintenance, extend asset life, cut operating costs, and boost equipment safety across our energy infrastructure portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch AI applications for predictive and preventive maintenance, asset life extension, cost reduction and safety.
• Leverage Large and Small Language Models (LLMs/SLMs) for intelligent automation and decision support.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify AI opportunities and integrate solutions within Azure cloud environments.
• Integrate Microsoft Copilot tools into enterprise workflows while ensuring compliance with company policies and data confidentiality.
• Provide structured progress reports and documentation, and evaluate emerging AI technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on AI/ML development experience, preferably in industrial or asset‑intensive settings.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently while aligning with team goals.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed and adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
