AI Platform and Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Brain Co. is building AI‑native operating systems for regulated institutions and is looking for an AI Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale Kubernetes‑ and Terraform‑based infrastructure for its customers. You will work with a team of industry veterans to deliver reliable, high‑performance AI workloads at national scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and scale Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure across multiple customer environments.
• Define standards for networking, security, CI/CD pipelines and multi‑region deployments.
• Build and maintain metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards and Service Level Objectives.
• Diagnose and improve performance of distributed systems and AI workloads.
• Support high‑performance inference, data pipelines and large‑scale backend services.
• Ensure systems scale reliably under fast‑growing and unpredictable workloads.
• Partner with technical leaders on architecture and mentor engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building large‑scale backend or infrastructure systems.
• Strong background in distributed systems, performance tuning and incident response.
• Ability to work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy and setting engineering standards.
