AI Platform Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading UAE institution that is building a digital‑first, AI‑enabled financial services organisation. As an AI Platform Engineer you will help design, build, and operate the core platform that powers the bank’s AI ecosystem, working closely with AI engineers, data teams, architects, and security specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate model‑serving infrastructure, inference platforms, and MLOps/LLMOps capabilities across Azure and AWS.
• Develop and maintain AI platform services such as agent runtimes, LLM gateways, vector stores, and orchestration layers.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation using Terraform, Helm, and GitOps.
• Ensure secure AI infrastructure with identity management, network isolation, secrets management, and governance controls.
• Provide observability, monitoring, scaling, disaster‑recovery, and cost‑optimisation for AI workloads.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, MLOps, infrastructure engineering, or SRE.
• Hands‑on experience operating cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong background with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms such as Databricks, MLflow, or GPU‑focused environments.
• Familiarity with LLM platforms, vector databases, AI gateways, or agent frameworks.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors is a plus.
