AI Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to design, implement, and validate security controls for AI/ML services across Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning and third‑party platforms. You will safeguard models, data, APIs and infrastructure throughout the AI lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of AI/ML assets, models, inference endpoints, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Conduct security reviews of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, and approved third‑party AI solutions.
• Evaluate authentication, authorization, managed identities, service principals, API keys, secrets and network exposure.
• Implement least‑privilege RBAC, private endpoints, firewall rules, network isolation, encryption and secure secret storage.
• Assess AI data flows for PII/PHI and confidential data exposure in prompts, outputs, RAG repositories and connectors.
• Automate security testing, prompt‑injection detection and remediation using CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; postgraduate security qualification is a plus.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, including cloud, application or data security, with hands‑on exposure to AI/ML platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Azure security/AI certifications (SC‑100, AZ‑500, AI‑102) are preferred.
