Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician

About the role

The Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician is responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems operate safely and efficiently within the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets, and program televisions.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities.
• Support landscaping and sprinkler system repairs.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic controls.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety policies, and maintain professional appearance.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform manual tasks.
