Air Traffic Controller – Approach (Shift)

About the role

The role involves providing 24/7 aerodrome control, approach control, flight information and alerting services on a shift pattern. You will ensure a safe, orderly and efficient flow of aircraft within the assigned airspace, applying innovative procedures such as RECAT, RRSM, APO and A‑SMGCS.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver aerodrome control services and approach control services in accordance with ICAO standards.
• Provide flight information and alerting services as required.
• Maintain safe and expeditious traffic flow for all aircraft operating in the designated area.
• Apply and monitor advanced procedures (e.g., RECAT, RRSM, APO, A‑SMGCS) to optimise performance.
• Coordinate with pilots, ground staff and other ATC units to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Successful completion of relevant ICAO courses.
• ICAO English Level 4 proficiency.
• Valid ATC licence and current medical certificate.
• Minimum three years continuous operational duties at a major international unit.
• Ability to work in a high‑density, complex environment.
• General computer literacy with commercial PC software packages.
