About the role

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Captain with all phases of flight preparation, navigation and operation.
• Maintain continuous independent monitoring of aircraft position, terrain and weather.
• Provide clear communication and decision‑support to ensure safe and efficient flights.
• Uphold Etihad’s standards of discipline, conduct and personal appearance.
• Assume command in the event of Captain incapacitation.

Required profile

• Professionalism and strong technical competence.
• Ability to work effectively within a flight‑deck team.
• Leadership potential for future command responsibilities.

Required skills

• Airbus A320 type rating.
• Flight operations and aircraft navigation expertise.
• Knowledge of crew resource management.
