About the role

Join Etihad Engineering as an Aircraft Structures Engineer, where technical expertise meets aviation excellence. You will lead structural maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance for both internal and external aircraft structures. The role involves supervising a small team of structure/composite technicians and certifying all assigned tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform repair and modification of internal and external aircraft structures according to technical manuals, engineering drawings, orders and specifications.
• Supervise and control a group of structure/composite technicians, ensuring task completion to airworthiness standards.
• Certify all structure/composite work within the in‑house approval scope.
• Maintain accurate aircraft documentation and ensure progressive sign‑off of project records.
• Enforce safety regulations, safe working practices, tool control and material control procedures.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping and foreign object debris (FOD) control.

Required profile

• High school diploma or university/college degree, preferably in aviation or engineering.
• Valid UAE GCAA or EASA Aircraft License, or equivalent aviation diploma.
• Minimum 6 years of aircraft structural/composite maintenance experience, preferably in MRO or airline environments.
• Experience leading technical staff and managing maintenance checks, modifications, and repairs.
