Animator – StuDIYo Lab

About the role

The Animator – StuDIYo Lab creates engaging woodwork, arts & crafts, and DIY workshops for children in the PlayShop environment. You will combine entertainment and education to inspire creativity, curiosity, and hands‑on learning while ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate woodwork, arts & crafts, and creative workshops for children of various ages.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment that follows all safety procedures.
• Support daily PlayShop operations, adhering to schedules, lesson plans, and brand standards.
• Welcome and engage children, parents, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Handle front‑desk duties such as guest inquiries, booking management, attendance tracking, and administrative tasks.
• Assist with workshop planning, reporting, record‑keeping, inventory tracking, and digital administration.
• Host special events, parent‑engagement activities, and community programs.
• Monitor facilities, tools, materials, and equipment; report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, hygiene, and safety standards across all PlayShop areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience facilitating children’s workshops or similar creative activities.
• Strong ability to follow and enforce workshop safety practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging families and guests.
• Organised and detail‑oriented for administrative and inventory tasks.
