About the role

As an Applied AI Engineer (VP), you will design, build, and optimise the workflows and architectures that power advanced AI applications, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable and production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale cutting‑edge AI workflows and agentic systems.
• Own production‑grade AI architecture in a high‑growth environment.
• Design and implement scalable AI workflows and agentic architectures.
• Develop end‑to‑end AI pipelines that integrate models, retrieval systems and data platforms.
• Collaborate with Applied AI specialists to deploy innovative AI solutions into production.
• Optimise performance, reliability and scalability of AI systems across the organisation.
• Drive best practices in AI engineering, architecture, monitoring and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and deploying AI solutions into production environments.
• Strong understanding of workflow architecture, orchestration and AI system design.
• Experience with vector databases, retrieval systems and modern AI frameworks.
• Background in software engineering, AI engineering, data engineering or a related discipline.
• Ability to scale AI applications beyond proof‑of‑concept or demonstration environments.
