Applied AI ML Scientist

About the role

The Applied AI ML Scientist will join Cerebras’ FieldML team in Dubai, focusing on turning cutting‑edge research into production‑ready AI solutions. You will work directly with customers to design, train, and deploy large‑scale deep learning models on the Cerebras Wafer‑Scale Engine, enabling real‑time inference and advanced agentic capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to discover use‑cases, assess data readiness, and define project scope and success metrics.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end training pipelines for custom large language models and other deep learning architectures.
• Fine‑tune and optimize state‑of‑the‑art models for specific industry verticals, ensuring performance and accuracy targets are met.
• Develop evaluation benchmarks and conduct rigorous testing to validate model convergence and business impact.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation to help customers adopt the Cerebras Wafer‑Scale Engine for their AI workloads.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑model training, post‑training optimization, or both.
• Strong understanding of training dynamics, model convergence, and data curation.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and deliver end‑to‑end solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
