Arabic Elementary Teacher

About the role

New Academy School is seeking a dedicated Arabic Elementary Teacher to join its Dubai campus. The successful candidate will create a supportive learning environment that enables young learners to reach their full academic and personal potential while aligning with the school’s vision and curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic language instruction across the required grade levels, adhering to the approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, and assess student work, including marking and providing feedback.
• Monitor and evaluate student participation, progress, and performance, and produce regular reports.
• Participate in school trips, events, and extracurricular activities, sometimes outside regular hours.
• Collaborate with senior staff to develop pacing charts, substitute for absent teachers, attend meetings, and create teaching materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject and a teaching qualification acceptable to KHDA.
• Proficiency in English (essential) and Arabic (essential for Arabic teaching roles).
• Ability to use standard office software and educational technology.
• Any prior teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
