About the role

Fortes Education is seeking an enthusiastic Arabic and Islamic Studies Teacher to join its newly built campus in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction across early years, key stages and secondary levels, fostering a love of learning and cultural understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons for FS2, Key Stages 1‑5, GCSE/IGCSE and A‑Level cohorts.
• Integrate technology and educational apps to enrich classroom experiences.
• Contribute to the extra‑curricular programme and wider campus life.
• Support middle‑leadership functions such as year‑group or subject‑lead roles when applicable.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a minimum B.Ed or B.A (or equivalent) and strong academic background.
• Dynamic, enthusiastic and well‑organised with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Committed to developing the whole child through multiple intelligences and inclusive practices.
• Willingness to act as a role model embodying the school’s core values.

Required skills

• Tech‑savvy, fluent in using educational apps and digital platforms.
• Proficient in delivering Arabic language instruction for first‑ and second‑language learners.
• Experienced in teaching Islamic Studies across the specified key stages.
• Familiarity with Edexcel, AQA and CIE curricula.
