Arabic Teacher A – Cycle 1 (Primary)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICSchools) Al Danah is seeking an enthusiastic Arabic Teacher A for Cycle 1 (Years 1‑3/4) within its British‑curriculum programme. The role involves delivering high‑quality Arabic language instruction that aligns with the National Curriculum for England and ADEK standards, while fostering a supportive environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Arabic lessons for primary‑phase students in accordance with the British curriculum.
• Integrate interactive whiteboards, learning platforms and educational apps to enhance student engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Collaborate with the Head of Arabic Department and other faculty to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures and ADEK licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., QTS) is highly desirable.
• Possession of an ADEK Teacher License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of full‑time Arabic teaching experience at primary level in a British‑curriculum setting.
• Fluent spoken and written Arabic (native‑speaker level preferred) and strong English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with interactive whiteboards.
• Experience using learning platforms.
• Ability to incorporate educational apps into language instruction.
