About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Arabic Teacher to join our high‑school team. The role involves delivering engaging Arabic language lessons, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Set high expectations and motivate pupils across diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating classroom rooted in mutual respect.
• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons that build on pupils’ prior knowledge and promote a love of learning.
• Assess pupil attainment, provide constructive feedback, and guide reflection on progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to differentiate instruction and meet individual learning needs.
• Contribute to curriculum design and ensure alignment with current Arabic language standards.
• Uphold school policies, code of conduct, and the vision of an “amazing learning” community.

Required profile

• Strong passion for student development and ability to inspire confidence.
• Excellent knowledge of Arabic language, literature, and relevant curriculum.
• Understanding of literacy development, including systematic synthetic phonics for early readers.
• Awareness of factors that affect learning and strategies to overcome them.
• Commitment to continuous reflection and professional growth.
