About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher for Yas American Academy to start in August 2026. The role involves delivering the Massachusetts Common Core Curriculum alongside Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies, fostering creativity and artistic development in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons for a range of abilities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to align lessons with curriculum requirements.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour in line with school policy.
• Work with curriculum support staff and external specialists such as speech and language therapists when needed.

• Flexibility to work collaboratively and adapt teaching strategies based on assessment data.
