About the role

The Making Links Asia University Programme in Dubai offers a paid work‑experience placement for first‑year law students from under‑represented backgrounds. Participants will develop technical, professional and commercial skills while gaining a global outlook and improving English proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Attend a series of interactive webinars and online learning sessions (January‑June) organised on a regional basis.
• Take part in one‑on‑one coaching sessions to build confidence in professional English communication.
• Complete a paid work‑experience placement in the Dubai office, supported by a two‑week salary sponsorship.
• Participate in local office activities and networking events throughout the programme.

Required profile

• Native Arabic‑speaking first‑year law student.
• Belongs to an under‑represented background and is committed to a career in commercial law.
• Demonstrates consistent academic performance.
