Assistant Bid Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Bid Manager to join AtkinsRéalis’ Middle East Sales & Growth team in Dubai. The role supports bid managers, market leads and technical disciplines throughout the capture and proposal process, providing coordination and governance to maximise win rates.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate capture planning and win‑strategy sessions to secure approvals before submission deadlines.
• Execute corporate governance processes, ensuring consistent use of tools and procedures across all bids.
• Liaise with technical teams to develop robust technical and commercial responses.
• Produce high‑quality bid documents that are compliant, error‑free and delivered in the required format.
• Organise interview and presentation development, providing creative input and coaching to the bid team.
• Drive continuous improvement in bid processes and introduce innovative approaches.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in bids and proposals, preferably within the Middle East design consultancy sector.
• Degree‑level education in design, construction, business or marketing.
• Strong organisational, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Dynamics CRM.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat InDesign.
