Assistant Claims Manager

About the role

The Assistant Claims Manager will support the claims function for a range of infrastructure and building projects in Dubai. Working closely with senior claims professionals, you will evaluate extension‑of‑time claims, analyse cost and disruption claims, and provide contractual advice to mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake claims management across various infrastructure and building projects.
• Conduct forensic evaluation of extension of time claims and prepare detailed assessment reports.
• Analyse cost and disruption claims, advising on entitlements and quantum.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
• Support delay and quantum matters in arbitration and litigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in claims and contracts management, preferably within contractor, consultant or developer teams.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract forms.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with ability to produce high‑quality reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management; additional qualifications in construction law are a plus.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing.
