About the role

The Assistant Club Lounge Manager supports the Club Lounge Manager in delivering the legendary Mandarin Oriental experience to guests. Based in the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, this role ensures smooth daily operations, high‑quality service, and meticulous attention to guest preferences within the exclusive lounge environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily Club Lounge operations, ensuring efficient workflows, proper staffing, and service excellence.
• Supervise colleague performance, punctuality, grooming, and behaviour in line with brand standards.
• Train, coach, and develop lounge staff through structured programs and mentoring.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local safety, security, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with guest room allocation, personally welcome VIP and long‑stay guests, and manage preference records.
• Oversee food and beverage service, supply management, lounge cleanliness, and table setup.
• Conduct daily briefings, assign side work, and monitor performance for operational consistency.
• Coordinate special guest requests, event timing, billing instructions, and décor requirements.
