Assistant Director, Business Development – Executive Education

About the role

NYU Abu Dhabi, in partnership with the Stern School of Business, is seeking an experienced commercial leader to expand its executive education portfolio in the region. Reporting to the Office of Executive and Professional Education, the Assistant Director will act as the commercial hub for Stern at NYUAD, turning academic expertise into market‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate strategic opportunities across government, corporate and institutional sectors.
• Build senior‑level relationships and secure high‑value, multi‑year partnerships.
• Lead complex bids and proposals, including multi‑million‑dollar opportunities.
• Translate faculty research into differentiated commercial propositions.
• Structure partnership agreements, such as MSAs and MOUs, and negotiate pricing and terms.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development or commercial leadership within education or professional services.
• Strong network in the UAE and wider Gulf region.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end sales cycles from initial engagement to contract signing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
