Assistant Director – Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

About the role

Join the world‑leading luxury hotel group FIVE as an Assistant Director – Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps. You will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining high‑performance cloud and on‑premise infrastructure that powers our award‑winning lifestyle destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and high‑traffic applications.
• Own and optimise networking across AWS and on‑premise environments, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, DNS, load balancing and Wi‑Fi.
• Monitor performance, uptime and security, proactively resolving issues before they affect operations.
• Drive automation and DevOps best practices using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
• Manage core IT infrastructure, servers and enterprise hardware across cloud and data‑center sites.
• Collaborate with software engineers, internal stakeholders and technology vendors to deliver reliable, scalable platforms.

• Networking concepts: firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, DNS, load balancing, Wi‑Fi.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Server management and enterprise hardware.
• Experience with Oracle Hospitality (highly desirable).
